To all of you who were in debate, here’s a little something from the New York Times.
Hopefully, this will make the next generation of debaters speak more clearly and over all improve the speed and clarity rounds.

I still do that impersionation to this day.
For some reason I’m reminded of the time you stood behind Tam Tran while he was doing speed drills and demonstrated that he wasn’t actually speaking quickly — just speaking as if he were speaking quickly.
It would be great training for debaters to listen to fast debates using these machines — to make them even faster.
